Invitation for Participants

11 Ağustos 2025 Pazartesi

Dear Scientists, Researchers, Public and Private Sector Representatives,

We are greatly honored and pleased to invite you to the "Local Development Symposium," which will be organized by Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAIBU) Economic and Social Research Application and Research Center (ESAM) at the BAIBU Congress Center on October 27-28, 2025.

Our symposium, to be held with the main theme "Bolu's Future in the Axis of Sustainability: Sectoral Analyses and Policy Recommendations," aims to scientifically scrutinize Bolu's economic potential and offer feasible policy recommendations for the future. In this context, interdisciplinary discussions will be conducted across a wide spectrum of fields, ranging from Bolu's primary production areas like Agriculture and Animal Husbandry to Tourism; from dynamics strengthening the economic structure such as Economics, Finance, Public Finance, Marketing, and Local Governments; to fields ensuring global integration like International Trade, Logistics, Entrepreneurship, Management, and Business Administration. The thematic topics are listed below.

We would be delighted if you would share your valuable work and ideas, which will shed light on Bolu's future, at this important event where academic knowledge will be blended with the experiences of policymakers and sector practitioners. The symposium will offer a unique opportunity for new collaborations to emerge, joint projects to be developed, and concrete steps to be taken towards regional development.

Hoping to shape Bolu's future together, we look forward to seeing you among us at this meaningful scientific gathering.

Sincerely,
